# Great Britain speeding notice response route

intended prosecution and a section 172 notice. It states a 28-day return period
for the section 172 notice and a later fixed-penalty or court branch. Section
172 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 supplies the Great Britain statutory source;
the actual notice and current legislation remain controlling.
