# Cardiff missed collection

[Cardiff Council](../organisations/cardiff-council.md) provides this local

Observed official conditions on 2026-08-07 include reporting within 48 hours
and having presented the waste by 6am. The page identifies reasons a collection
may not count as missed, including contamination, incorrect presentation, an
overfull container, blocked access or damage. During some announced
disruptions, the page can say that no report is needed. These are Cardiff facts,

The council says a service issue must first be reported through the service
