# OKF evolution review

This small OKF bundle is the inspectable evidence layer for the full
beginner-level report in `docs/okf-evolution-review-2026-08-17.md`.
It records what changed from LLM-Wiki to OKF 0.1, OKF 0.2 and the additive
Bundle Wiki YAML-LD profile without pretending that every file containing the
letters “OKF” is a conformant bundle.

## Read the evidence

- [Chronology](chronology.md) — dated milestones, elapsed periods and turning points.
- [Bundle inventory](bundle-inventory.md) — real bundles, historical wikis, compatibility layers, fixtures and mentions.
- [Standards decisions](standards-decisions.md) — what was incorporated, adapted, deferred or rejected.
- [Conversation register](conversation-register.md) — bounded task evidence and its privacy boundary.
- [Grounding and retrieval](grounding-and-retrieval.md) — what the evidence supports about accuracy and compact context.
- [MCP and discovery](mcp-and-discovery.md) — the access design, registry proposal and comparison baseline.
- [Current best practice](best-practice.md) — the present authoring, assurance and publication method.

## How to explore it

Load this repository's `okf-bundle.json` in OKF Explorer. Search for “OKF
evolution review”, filter the `research` section, open a record in Reader, and
then move between Links, Graph, Timeline and Inspect. The Markdown remains the
source; JSON, YAML-LD, JSON-LD, the legacy viewer and the static site are built
projections.

## Honest boundary

The repository scan observed 138 local Git repositories at depth two on 17
August 2026 and selected 26 by bounded filename, path or text markers. The
curated inventory then classified those candidates. It is a reproducible
snapshot of the locally available evidence, not proof that no other private,
deleted, remote-only or deeper-nested work exists.
